        THE PREPOSITION(संबंधसूचक अव्यय)

Definition(परिभाषा):

Preposition को साधरणतः संबंध प्रकट करने के लिए प्रयोग करते है तथा 

वह सम्बन्ध प्रायः किसी व्यक्ति या वस्तु का होता है और किसी 

व्यक्ति या वस्तु के नाम को Noun (संज्ञा) तथा उसके बदले में बोले 

जाने वाला शब्द Pronoun (सर्वनाम) कहलाता है |

अतः किसी Noun (संज्ञा) या उसके बदले बोले जाने वाला शब्द 

Pronoun (सर्वनाम) से पहले प्रयुक्त होकर किसी अन्य Noun (संज्ञा) 

या Pronoun (सर्वनाम) से सम्बन्ध प्रकट करता है |

Example (उदाहरण):-

1. We came from Delhi.

2. He goes to school.

3. You came from Mumbai.

4. The cat is on the table.

5. She will come from Delhi today.

Underline किये गए वाक्य Preposition है Preposition वाक्यों में 

प्रयोग करना आसान ही नहीं बल्कि बहुत ही सरल है जो आपको इस 

पाठ के माध्यम से समझ आ जायेगा |

KINDS OF PREPOSITION

Simple Preposition

जो Preposition साधरण होते है उसे Simple Preposition कहते है, जैसे -

(by, in, on, of, for, after, before, under, over, down, to, up etc.)

 Example (उदाहरण):-

1. She goes to college.

2. He lives in a big village.

3. The cat is on the table.

4. He will come from Delhi.

5. I will teach you after class.

Underline किये गए शब्द Simple Preposition है | 

Double Preposition

जिस Preposition में दो शब्दों से मिलकर बना होना प्रतीत होता है 

उसे Double Preposition कहते है ; जैसे - 

(Into, onto, from among, within, From off, over against etc.)

Example (उदाहरण):-

1. She climbed onto the roof.

2. The book onto the sale.

3. The goat into the well.

4. He will come within a week.

5. She was selected from among them.

Compound Preposition

Compound Preposition एक मिश्रित Preposition है जिसमे जुड़ाव 

का भाव निकालता हैं; जैसे :-

(Across, Between, Above, Beside, Beyond, Beneath, Amidst, 

Before etc.)

Example (उदाहरण):-

1. His House is situated above the sea level.

2. She is About to go.

3. The temperature of daily is above 50' C.

4. She ran across the road.

5. He had left before you came.

Phrase Preposition

शब्दों का ऐसा समूह जिसका भाव अपूर्ण हो Phrase कहलाता है
और Phrase Preposition उसे कहते है शब्दों के समूह में Preposition जुड़ा हो और उसका अर्थ निश्चित हो लेकिन भाव अपूर्ण हो Phrase Preposition कहलाता है |

(what to say,  According to, on swing,  because of,  on behalf of, Along with,  In spite of,  in live of,  on account of, in comparison of,  in course of, due to,  instead of,  in place of etc.)

Example

1. Due to sunami whole city rained.

2. Its only because of you.

3. I am speaking on behalf of nirmal.

4. There is a big temple in front of my house.

5. In spite of hard work, He could not succeed.

Participle Preposition

Participle क्रियाओं से बनाते है और जो Preposition क्रियाओं से सम्बन्धित जानकारी प्रकट करते है उसे Participle Preposition कहते है |
